My Journey to Becoming a Therapist
MY STORY
After raising four sons and becoming an empty nester, I returned to my native land of Texas and embraced a new chapter by pursuing my passion for helping others. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and am now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). In addition to my clinical training, I hold certifications in addiction counseling, EMDR and in Stephen Ministries.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive. I believe therapy should feel safe, practical, and empowering—providing you with tools to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.

A Personal Touch
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy the simple things that keep me grounded and balanced. I’m an avid reader, love practicing yoga, and often spend time on the golf course. Long walks with my rescue dog, Nala, are some of my favorite moments of peace and reflection. Most of all, I cherish time with my four sons and family, who continue to inspire and bring joy to my life.
